YouTube tutorials aren’t just for fixing your dishwasher anymore.

I don’t know if you’ve been following the news, but Syria is kind of a mess right now. Ever since the fall of the Assad regime, people have been waiting on pins and needles to find out what the new “normal” is. Is the next government going to be chill? What’s going to happen to the legal system? And how the hell do they use all the stuff the Assad sycophants left behind?

While the first two questions are presently lacking answers, the latter has found a resolution: YouTube tutorials.

Yes, it seems that rebels now using the leftover machines of the old regime are figuring out how to do so the same way we try to figure out if our washing machine is on the fritz: pulling up YouTube and searching “how does this thing work?”

Evidently, it’s actually effective!
